- dance fever poem

Standing there as if i’m not nervous, yet my heart beats faster than usual
Laughing uncontrollably as I fail too many times to count
Relieved that the embarrassing moment has ended

My mind clouded with the steps of jive, mixing them up at times
The slow quick steps had my heart beating to the tango song
Having fun as I do the hip-hop routine, not caring if I look stupid

- haiku poem about softball

Haiku

I don’t really play
But I guess it was cool-ish
I hit the ball once

It didn’t go far
But I did get to first base
Which was somewhat cool

-

The ball came rushing
The bat I held swung forward
I stand silently

And then I take off
My feet run towards first base
I make the first base

- matariki poem

The sound of celebration and happiness radiated
delicious smells coated the air;
cultural food and fresh drinks are devoured;
stomachs full, with kai to spare
a legend is told, a quiet hum is heard;
distant relatives bond, singing and dancing
a priceless sky is seen, 400 light years away
the night of a new year
to those who remember their roots

💣 war, lives, and loss

war is the definition of conflict
it starts of in a disagreement
then ends with a lot of pain inflicted
but why couldn't we come to an agreement ?
before this tragedy
before people started losing their family

the soldiers who put down their lives
and probably left their wives
the blood of many shedded
as they fought and protected
and for those who are killed

all war means is peace

Bio Poem About Me!

Danielle
Different, Socially Awkward, Bookworm.
Lover of a variety of music, animals, and singing at random times.
Who wonders what goes through peoples minds at their last breath.
Who fears what lurks in the dark, strange noises at night, and gossipers.
Who feels whole when with family and friends, anxious when reading,
and irritated at times.
Who is able to speak out her mind without a second thought.
Who would like to learn how to draw, learn another language,
and meet some inspiring people.
Who dreams of travelling the world.
Unique!

Catapult Poem

A launcher, you were!
A departure, you have been!
A toy artillery, you are!
you slinged, my toys everywhere
And got me into trouble a lot
But you still were my favourite toy
