Cultural Walk about

Today we had a cultural walk about we had a entire term of studies we had to study all about one of the students culture. My class learnt all about South Africa Alex was South African so that is why we learnt about that country. I learnt a lot of great facts that can help when I am a adult. When I went around in a rotation around my school I found out that in the Netherlands they were clog shoes so that there feet would not get wet. This is a great experience that I will never forget.

• Wind pollinated flowers: The grains of pollen are usually light so they travel by wind.

• Animal pollinated flowers: Pollen grains are large and stick to insects, birds and mammals body's.

In room eight we learned about flowers and pollination.

The past week Glenbrae School had a plant Experiment we all got some seeds that we had to plant. Every class room in the School got a envelope filled with some seeds we did not know what kind of seeds they were only Mrs Holderness knows.

Yesterday room seven had a experiment evolving celery water and blue food coloring. First we filled the jar with water and blue food coloring. After we filled the jar with water and food coloring we put one long green celery. After one night we took the celery out and we saw that there was blue spots we passed the celery to each person. We could have also put a flower in the water and food coloring

Today our class went onto a web site called Learnz.co.nz and then we went onto  Homepage of Kiwi   This is a good web site if you want to learn about Kiwis. We are studying a type of kiwi called Rowi. Rowi is an en-danged species. BNZ has been sponsoring money for this kiwi project.

I am one of the Earth pillars that our Earth needs to survive.

I am an invisible gas.
I help people to have electricity.
I help all living things to survive on our Earth.
I take up space.
I weigh something.

Without me, no living thing would be able to survive.
Without me, there would be no such word called Earth because no one be able to be on the Earth.

I can make it so stormy that no one would see it coming.
I can make it just a calm breeze.
I can cause a tornado so deadly and unsafe.
